William is a Tax Manager and focused on meeting the needs of Colorado physicians, medical practices and healthcare organizations.
He provides tax planning and compliance, accounting solutions, and consulting services to Denver area companies. William blends his years of experience and technical knowledge to translate numbers into understandable activities. He works diligently to connect the numbers to business actions and overall strategy.
Prior to Hanson & Co., William focused on tax planning and compliance for individuals, trusts and businesses at a local accounting firm. He also worked as a Controller of a specialty medical practice which included full oversight of financial and management accounting, asset acquisition and liabilities. He started his career working in the tax department of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
William earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder and then attended the University of Louisville in Louisville, KY. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Colorado Society of CPAs, Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA).
