Nate Galuzzi

“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”

Nate is a Tax Manager, focused on providing tax planning advice and compliance services to business owners and individuals, emphasizing on oil and gas and real estate companies.

Nate focuses on helping business owners address and overcome their tax challenges. While this typically means he spends most of his time focused on tax planning and compliance, he also helps with complex tax issues such as multi-state and nexus issues.  He also works with high net worth individuals, estates, and trusts providing similar solutions. Although Nate appreciates the technical aspects of working in the tax arena, it is the opportunity to help clients understand the impact of state and federal taxes in their own personal situations that he enjoys most. He strives to eliminate surprises and bring peace of mind to clients by helping them make well-informed decisions.

Nate has the distinction of being one of a handful of team members that have spent their entire careers at Hanson & Co. He started as a Tax Associate in 2006 and worked his way up to Tax Manager learning many aspects of tax laws, reporting and compliance, and planning along the way.  Having “grown up” in the firm means Nate has a unique perspective on the needs of our clients and the best solutions to solve their challenges, and he has developed many long-lasting client relationships during his years at Hanson&Co.

Nate earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an accounting concentration and a Masters of Accountancy degree from Colorado State University. He is a member of the American Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants. Nate is involved in various community organizations in the Denver area.
