Mark is a Shareholder/Director in the Tax Practice.
In this role, he is responsible for all Firm tax matters including the implementation of effective tax planning strategies, compliance services and technical leadership on estate, trust, fiduciary and individual tax issues. In addition, he advises foreign companies and U.S. subsidiaries on international tax compliance issues, tax treaties and optimizing expatriate tax filings. Mark also represents companies before the Internal Revenue Services and state tax authorities.
Mark received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Washington and Lee University and his Master of Taxation from Old Dominion University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is licensed as a CPA in both Colorado and Virginia and has over 26 years of experience in the profession. Mark has the distinguished honor of receiving the 5280 Five Star Award for Wealth Managers four years in a row – 2010 – 2013. He is a member of the Cherry Creek Theatre Company Board of Directors, Cherry Creek Chamber of Commerce, and serves as the treasurer of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church.
