Krystal is a Tax Manager and is focused on meeting the needs of Colorado entrepreneurs and small businesses.
She provides tax compliance, planning and consulting services to small businesses, primarily those in the real estate and oil & gas industries. While her primary focus is in tax, she often works with clients providing guidance on accounting best practices, bookkeeping issues and entity structure strategies.
Prior to Hanson & Co., Krystal served in various public accounting and private industry roles. She served as an auditor for a mid-sized regional Chicago firm and transitioned to an auditor role for a large multi-national consulting firm focused on lender and transaction advisory services. In addition, Krystal also spent 2 years as Controller for a small commercial real estate brokerage firm. It’s the combination of these experiences which allows her to deliver the unique value clients have come to expect.
Krystal earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northern Illinois University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado of Certified Public Accountants. She is licensed in the states of Illinois and Colorado. Krystal is involved in various organizations in the Denver area.
